“My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man’s doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny.” – Elaine Maxwell
Persistence is the number one attribute of high achievers. They never give up. Even when they fall, they just pick themselves up and keep moving forward.
If you are doing what you love and have a lot of passion for it, this will give you the fuel you need to keep moving forward. I find myself feeling fearful all the time. It is scary to be on my own trying to figure out all the pieces and make the right decisions, however, I am doing what I love and my passion runs deep. It is a part of who I am at the core of my being. I know this is what I was born to do. When I feel fear popping up, I recognize it and choose to continue by taking whatever steps I am comfortable taking – sometimes smaller, sometimes bigger – but steps forward nevertheless. The key is I never stop moving forward.
