My number one tip is to remember that anything physical has an emotional or mental cause behind it. It is proven that over 90% of all disease and illness can be directly linked back to stress in one’s life. Remember that stress can be good and it can be bad but our bodies handle it the same. For example, even though we might be really excited about a new home or a new job or an upcoming wedding, it is still stressful.
One of the best resources I have found is a small book called Heal Your Body by Louise Hay. This book provides a list of physical ailments and their possible causes. I have found the book to be very accurate and very helpful for both myself and my clients.
